Deborah’s work is grounded in the understanding that all people experience inspiration to express themselves creatively; that the experience of engaging in this process is healing & transformative; that the regular practice of visiting these interior landscapes fertilizes our capacity to connect with ourselves, others, & the natural world; & that experiencing these connections leads us to a deep & satisfying sense of relatedness & wholeness, accompanied by change & development that is preferred & optimal.
-revised version of quote from Natalie Rogers-
Deborah’s work is additionally informed by integral & relational approaches, meaning that she views each human being as being part of a larger relational world, that we are all developing through a process that is quite naturally unfolding towards a consciousness that promotes well-being, & that all voices & positions deserve being listened to & come out of intentions that have personal meaning to those who hold them.
Deborah lives & practices in Greenville, South Carolina, where she enjoys hiking, gardening, the cinema, & the good company of friends & family.
